The specific responsibilities include providing day-to-day support in developing basic and complex test scripts in using QTP, executing basic and complex scripts, updating existing scripts and performing proper post-execution data gathering and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, professional, motivated, proactive individual with a passion for problem solving and making things efficient. POSITION PURPOSE: Provide test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions that incorporate industry standard techniques, strategies and processes. Plan, design, create and execute automated test suites for multiple applications. Experience: • At least 5 years experience with test automation of applications • Extensive knowledge/experience applying automation techniques and tools (HP Mercury preferred) • Experience in adapting/building an automated testing framework based on re-usable components • Ability to work in a collaborative environment using source control and other development toolsets • Experience creating, enhancing and/or implementing guidelines and best practices for test automation development • Experience testing SOA and Web Services. • Experience or good knowledge of programming and scripting languages.(MS Visual Basic, ASP .NET, Java Script, C++, C-Sharp, XML, WSDL, BizTalk) • Strong knowledge of relational databases • Flexibility and adaptable to changing environments • Good written and verbal communication skills • Create and Execute automated functional and regression testing (NOT record and playback of scripts) • Design framework and approach for automated test processes • Work with multiple application development, architecture and network teams, identifies, diagnoses, and reports on application performance issues • Provide engineering support for testing approach design and tools on projects of peers and junior associates • Perform the setup, upgrade, testing and administration of tools used by the testing team • Develop performance test estimates, strategy, scripting, test schedules; execute test plans • Team player Thanks & Regards, Christine TAMMINA SOLUTIONS LLC Phone:703-463-9760 Fax:703-991-5532 [email protected] -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
