Length: 3 to 6 Months Work Location : Lake Mary, FL Rate: $35/hr Max Job Description Job Title : Software Applications Engineer/Programmer III Additional Job Description: The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for the technical analysis, design, development, and maintenance of software applications and their associated components within Healthcare team and co-coordinating project development deliverables with off-shore development teams. Key Areas of Responsibility Understanding the business requirements and doing analysis & Design software subsystems, components, and their interfaces in support of business requirements Effectively coordinating with off-shore teams and managing development deliverables Managing multiple projects & effectively coordinating with Project Managers on Development deliverables Troubleshooting & analyzing the critical issues Performance tuning in application & databases Participating with customer calls for issue understanding & resolution Develop high quality code to support technical architecture and design Participate and contribute to an effective software development lifecycle Accurately estimate time and resources for software development efforts Incorporate unit testing practices into software development process Qualifications Basic Requirement Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. Experience with the following programming languages / technologies: C#, Javascript, AJAX, XML, T-SQL, ASP.NET,ADO.NET,DHTML,XSLT & SQLSever 2000/2005, DTS Experience with the following programming frameworks: .Net / ASP.Net, Web Services A minimum of 5 years experience in software architecture, design, and development Preferred Requirements Object Oriented Design and Analysis experience preferred Excellent documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to understand business and technical requirements Knowledge of / Experience with the latest Microsoft Development technologies (Silverlight, ASP.Net MVC, .Net RIA Services, etc.) Experience in healthcare industry & HL7 Integration Knowledge in project management NCR has the right to convert to full time after three months with no conversion fee.
