*REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* Location: MD Duration: 6 months *Job description:* Seeking a strong developer with proven skills in JAVA and Oracle PL/SQL programming for a large web based application. Must be a senior hands-on developer with 5 years or more of experience in designing and developing JAVA applications with Oracle as the back-end database. Must be able to contribute individually and work effectively within a team of developers and testers. Must be able to assist with analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of the application using proven experience with the full software development lifecycle *Technical skills required:* *Mandatory:* • Oracle 10g – SQL and PL/ SQL • JAVA SDK • J2SE or J2EE • Design of complex systems • Eclipse, ANT or comparable IDE • UNIX and UNIX shell scripting *Considered a plus:* • Experience with the Solaris environment • Experience with the financial markets • Experience in statistics, applied mathematics, linear programming, or simulation • GWT (Google Web Toolkit) • .NET • C++ • Agile development methodology • Experience with Natural Language Processing and/or Information Extraction/Text Mining • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering *Duties and responsibilities:* Study business requirements and independently design the required system Participate in the governance process to refine and validate the design Write the required code to develop the system Perform Unit testing Create and update software documentation Assist testers in preparing test cases Provide guidance to other team members in appropriate JAVA design and coding practices Assist team leader in preparing estimations, design documentation and code reviews --------------------------- Thanks Deepak [email protected] deepu.handy ( Yahoo & Gtalk ) -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
