POSITION OVERVIEW BI Developer (SSIS): Required Skills: SQL Server & SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Expertise with SQL Server 2008 database. · 4+ years of database experience. · Proficient with T-SQL development including stored procedures, functions, and views. Expertise with data warehouse ETL processes using SSIS (4+ years) · 4+ years of experience developing SSIS packages for data warehouse ETL load. · Understanding and experience in data warehouse ETL principles including slowly changing dimensions, change data capture, and error handling. · Support ongoing development of framework, patterns and standards that ensure reusability, integration and optimization. Desired skills: Business Intelligence Understanding of the full SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence suite including Analysis Services, Reporting Services. SharePoint and Proclarity Understanding and experience with database design and implementation of dimensional models Experience with Analsysis Services cube development. Experience with report development and deployment using Reporting Services, SharePoint, and ProClarity. General Good problem solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-player. Ability to successfully manage multiple task assignments across several projects. Familiarity with following a development methodology. Experience with MS Office software (Excel, Access, Word).
