*Pay rate: DOE* *Please send your resumes to: resu...@bigstring.com with contact details* *Required Qualifications* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience · 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting Windows systems in an enterprise environment · 3+ years experience in managing and supporting Linux / Unix systems in an enterprise environment · Expert Level knowledge of Windows / Linux / Unix Operating system and infrastructure services · Extensive hands-on experience in deploying and troubleshooting high performance systems · Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards as well as excellent hardware troubleshooting experience · Experience in supporting backup and recovery solutions for Windows / Linux /Unix systems · Experience in securing Windows/Unix/Linux operating systems per industry standard best practice · Experience in scripting · Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with performance tuning and analysis on Intel/AMD based platforms · Experience with networking technologies, particularly as they pertain to managing Windows/Linux/Unix systems and applications running on these system · Working knowledge of network monitoring systems · Ability to conduct research into networking issues, technologies, and products as required with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Excellent technical writing and technical documentation ability. · Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization * * *Desired Qualifications* · 7+ years of experience in managing and supporting large environment with Windows 2000 / 2003 Enterprise Servers in a complex, high availability, enterprise environment · 5+ years experience in managing and supporting Linux / Unix systems in a complex, high availability, enterprise environment · Experience with Virtual server environments and configuring systems for maximum performance and operating flexibility · Experience in supporting IBM’s Tivoli Storage Manager Backup and Recovery Solution for Windows / Linux systems. · Experience in deploying and supporting ePO virus client to secure servers. · Experience in deploying racks, cable management, and servers in a large data center environment. · Experience installing, maintaining and supporting Windows / Linux systems in a SAN environment · Proven technical leader with solid operating system administration skills, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast paced environment · Trained and experienced in Project Management. · Windows / Linux servers Certification · Experience with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and experience with serial communication protocols · Experience with Building Management and BioMed systems (e.g. JCI Metasys, Siemens Apogee, Honeywell, ASI, TraceVue,) · Ability to install and move servers that weigh over 40 lbs in the racks located at various UMHS data centers *Please send your resumes to: resu...@bigstring.com with contact details* -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
