Position: Sr. SQL Server Developer with Data Warehouse Exp IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW !!! IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW !!! Job Description:
* Primary role is as a SQL Server Data Warehouse Expert * Identify business requirements of data warehouse; * Plan, design, schedule and coordinate data warehouse analysis, design, modeling, development, and deployment; * Design end user interface including reporting; * Develop best practices for data loading and extraction into and out of the data warehouse; * Follow procedures for coding conventions and documentation; * Participate in weekly project team meetings; * Occasionally contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem. Required Skills: * Strong development experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 (T-SQL) * Ability to work with both minimal supervision and in a collaborative team environment developing creative database solutions; * Ability to architect new databases using common normalization and also star-schema constructs; * Considerable experience in architecting, designing, modeling, and documenting a complex high-volume environment with deep knowledge of Data Warehouse and ETL systems; * Extensive experience in Data Migration, Data Conversions, Data Extraction/ Transformation/Loading (ETL) using DTS, PL\ SQL Scripts * Experience with Database Planning and Design, Set-up, Maintenance, Performance Tuning, and Partitioning; * Experience in Database Backup, Recovery, Replication and Disaster Recovery; * P&C Insurance industry experience a plus. Education & Experience BS degree in Computer Science or related program Location: Jersey City,NJ Duration: Permanent/Full-Time Salary Range: DOE Must be a U.S Citizen/Green Card/EAD Holder in order to be considered for this spot.
