*Java Developer- Genesys IVR/CTI-Production Support***
*Duration: 6+ months*
*Location: Columbus, Ohio*
Java Developer to provide support *for Interactive Voice Response (IVR)* and
Computer *Telephony*
*Interface (CTI)** *platforms. Will develop and code IVR applications in
Java to meet requirements for strategic business projects. Requires basic
Java development skills as well as the ability to learn the nuances of a
voice platform VUI interface as opposed to a GUI interface. The successful
candidate will be extremely eager to learn, and expected to modify, enhance
and support application code.
*Prior experience with Genesys IVR / CTI platforms or other IVR / CTI
platforms is highly desired.***
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
Work as part of a Java development team.
Take specific business requirements and technical design and direction and
apply Java best practices in code security, efficiency, and maintainability,
while executing short and long duration projects.
Support code deployment into various testing environments, unit testing, and
provide support for production implementation.
Perform defect remediation and testing.
Exercise best practices in code management and coordination of code base
across multiple concurrent development efforts.
