We have a request for a DB Analyst/ETL Developer available so start ASAP. This assignment will end on January 31, 2011. Location: Silver Spring, VA. Duration: 6+ months. This person must have: 1. 6 years experience in ETL/Data warehouse development 2. Highly proficient in SQL and MySQL. 3. Solid experience in analyzing query performance issues and modifying data structures or application code to remedy performance problems. 4. Knowledge in scripting in php, phython, awk, sed, bash, perl is a plus. 5. Excellent understanding of relational and dimensional data models. 6. Experience with Clover or Talend a big plus (additionally, experience with Ab Initio, Postgres, Business Objects, or Informatica is good to have). 7. Must be willing to take on a high level specification and drive it down to an end result using Agile approaches.
