Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective. Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation. Develops and executes systems testing. Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups. Manages a technology Business Management Office (BMO) function. Directing team members who analyze and create management reporting addressing staffing, efficiency, quality, and other analytics that are directly related to the day-to-day running of the overall technology department’s business. Oversees business management functions such as Resource management, Vendor management, Procurement, Communications, HR implementations, etc. Works closely with the department’s CTO and CFO to determine meaningful metrics. Drives procedural changes that result in improvement in departmental efficiencies.
