Key skills (per manager): She said they must have- 6 years of experience and used Tiles, Struts, SVN, Eclipse, JBoss, Tomcat and test driven development and experience in applying design patterns. MUST HAVE actually worked in an agile, TDD environment. Design develop, unit test and provide production support Complete Description: Application development team in support of new product development and product rate revisions. Duties will include code refactoring, new development and production fixes for our policy applications. This position also requires the ability to design, develop, and unit test Java/J2EE application in Specialty products. • Analyze customer product issues related to our Policy Application • Work with Operations, Product Managers, developers, testers, data analysts and other internal departments to resolve issues, develop solutions to minimize cycle time for problem resolution, and make improvements for future releases. • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge of issues and corresponding resolutions or workarounds. • Develop training materials and web based support materials. Additional requirements are specified below: Candidates should be comfortable using graphical tools for debugging, refactoring, version control etc. Candidates should also have experience working in a complex, distributed environment with the need to trouble shoot and debug across client and server domains. Working or strong conceptual knowledge with one or more of the following tools is required: • MYeclipse or Eclipse • JUNIT • Clover • CVS • ANT • SVN Working or strong conceptual knowledge in the following client technologies is required: • Swing • Struts • XML • JavaScript • HTML, xHTML • CSS • Tomcat configuration experience or some other web tier container Conceptual Knowledge or experience in the following technologies is “nice to have” • Spring • Hibernate • JMS Working or strong conceptual knowledge in the following server related technologies is required: • JBOSS Application Server and JBOSS Configurations • EJB2 • JSP • Servlets • Oracle • Advanced SQL • JDBC Conceptual Knowledge or experience in the following technologies is “nice to have” Visibroker – CORBA Server.xml file experience JMS JNDI Clustering experience Six years programming & systems analysis.
