Works closely with the user community when data-related designs, issues and/or requirements are to be implemented and/or resolved. Applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve data related systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments Essential Assignment Functions: (Main functions of this role. Please be descriptive.) Participates in the design, the development, and deployment of the data specifications for extracts, interfaces, and/or internal application data solutions. Works directly with the other data analysts and/or customers on requirements and facilitates communication for the development of test plans in conjunction with the testing teams. Participates in the review, analysis, and solution definition for production related issues to existing applications May perform special assignments, as requested, by supervisor/manager Special Skills/Qualifications: (Please be specific in qualifications/required skill sets. - i.e. 4+ years Facets experiences) Working Knowledge and experience in structured systems analysis and design with an emphasis on application and data integration. Working knowledge in data discovery, data mapping, and data models Working knowledge of Facets, Macess, and maxMC applications a plus Working knowledge of some or all of the following: SQL, Oracle, Sybase, Business Objects, Impromptu, Actuate, Toad for Data Analysts, Visual Basic, Erwin and Windows environments Working knowledge of Windows tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
