Hi, Client is looking for Sr. SharePoint Designer / Developer *- *San Jose, CA. This is a 3-4 months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Ideal Candidate must possess a strong knowledge in SharePoint Development and .NET Technologies. Experience in .NET development, SharePoint TS or MCPD, ASP.NET, C#, XML, WSS, MOSS, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM are highly desirable. Strong ability to communicate with both clients and development team is a must. Previous experience in project management is a plus. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS · Proven record of Windows SharePoint Service 3.0, SharePoint Server 2003, SharePoint Server 2007, and SharePoint Server 2010 *designer*platforms. · Demonstrated experience with branding SharePoint Sites and Pages. · Demonstrated accomplishment and experience with several development languages such as .*ASP, HTM, HTML, .NET, C#, SOAP, XML* and related technologies as needed. · Architecting and Designing Microsoft Office SharePoint Portals for small business and WSS sites. · Ability to understand, participates, and contributes to larger Office SharePoint Server deployments and environments. The SharePoint Designer Developer must be able to work in a team-centric environment working closely with senior Microsoft Office SharePoint Developers, Project Managers, Database administrators and clients. · Must be able to create customized Web Parts, deploy Web Parts to a Web Part Gallery, Connect, Import and Export Web Parts. · Create, manage, and create highly customized My Sites. · Configuring Office and Enterprise Search interface, retrieve content appropriately, customizes the Search Center, create company Best Bets. · Customize and Create WSS and MOSS Workflows within the SharePoint Designer environment—preference given to other development tools as well such as Microsoft Visual Studio. · Secure and Manage Office SharePoint Server users and groups. · Manage and Optimizes Content within a Windows SharePoint Services and Office SharePoint Server environment. · Create Customize, and Design Custom Master Pages; assist and work closely with senior Office SharePoint Server Developers for corporate Portal solutions. · Integration with the Microsoft Office System · Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, RSS, Document Check-in and Check-out, Document approval process. · Create, define, and manage Business Intelligence Platform solutions using Excel Services, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Reporting Services and the Report Center, BDC Content sources, Dashboards, Data Sources and connections. · Understand SharePoint Designer, options, and customization features.
