*6 Months (Extendable)* We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Engineer to continue the build out of the team that will be the core of test engineering. Your innovation and leadership will play a direct role in the future success. This position is for the person with demonstrable experience in web and server-side test methodologies, extensive knowledge of *Service Oriented Architecture (S.O.A.)* and the ability to identify the most efficient way to test a multiple services in a distributed environment. This role is for the problem solver, with excellent communication skills. This person needs to be very knowledgeable in the technology space, and be able to develop and drive new testing technologies and methodologies. *Skills:* Demonstrated ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Ability to react to a fast paced environment Represent the team and its technology in technical and project meetings Scope and prioritize testing deliverables Work with engineering teams to prioritize, track and report progress of testing Demonstrated fluency in web technologies; *Javascript, HTML, DHTML, PERL, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, HTTP * *5+ years Java development experience <Mandatory> * Experience in using *Unit Testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNg <Mandatory> * *2+ years using SQL * *3-5 years development and/or testing experience working on the front-end for a large-scale, high-traffic ser*vice.
