*Job Title : UNIX ENGINEER Duration : **6+ months* *Location : Ashburn, VA* * Linux, AIX, and Solaris experience. Preferred to have all 3, least the first 2. *The main function of a systems engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. A typical systems engineer analyzes user needs, and then designs, tests, and develops software to meet those needs. An entry level systems engineer typically has a Bachelor degree in computer science or software engineering with previous experience in programming. As the levels progress, the years experience increase along with leadership expectations, with the introduction of a supervisory role at Level 4.
