Java Web Developers 6-9 month contract $40.00/hour CTC Local to Bay Area/San Francisco candidates only Client is an SAAS company (we already hired one candidate for this team) A junior to mid level developer, 1-3 years experience is probably optimal, up to 5 years is pushing it. This position would be given mostly configuration tasks, where the configuration is done manually through our web application platform. 1-3 years experience developing solutions using XML, HTML, CSS, SQL and JavaScript Familiarity with Internet technologies including Java, JSP, JSTL, XML, IIS, Tomcat, HTTP and FTP Exposure to product or service sales cycle and pre-sale activities Exposure to versioning systems like Subversion, CVS and VSS Proficient in Microsoft productivity tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio In addition, ideal candidates will have: *Fluency with hand-coded, standards-compliant HTML, XML and CSS *Experience with databases / data warehousing / ETL *Computer Science degree or equivalent Please let me know.
