* * *LOOKING FOR A SENIOR QA LEAD / MANAGER WHO CAN **MANAGE MULTIPLE QA LEADS** * *MUST BE VERY STRONG ON MANAGEMENT SIDE* *MUST HAVE SOME FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE* *QA Test Lead/Manager* Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 6 months+ *Description:* *-** Candidate will be managing a team of Test Leads with their day to day activities.*** - Interacting with Development and Project Teams. - Test Specialist will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for business IT projects that have ETL data warehouse and database changes. *- **Single point of contact for a Project Manager for all testing resources and deliverables** (Test, Configuration Management, Test Data Management, Environment Management, etc.).* - Actively participates in requirements reviews and all project planning activities. - Clearly defines their role on the project and set expectations of accountability, though not necessarily the performer for any specific task. - Work with the PM, release manager, and TD leads to develop and manage a project schedule, representing all QS resources. - Coordinates the project work estimates and fulfillments for all QS activities and tasks needed for project delivery as required. - Work with the project leadership to manage risks and issues. - Participate in project meetings and represent all QS disciplines to the project. - Escalate to senior management all QS related project concerns as appropriate in a timely manner. - Accountable for status reporting of QS activities on the project to stakeholders. - Accountable for QS SDLC and other QS discipline specific deliverables - Analyze system documentation, ex. Requirements, Interface Specifications, etc. - Work with Development and Systems Analysts to define test scenarios - Identify test data requirements and establish test data repositories - Work with Configuration and Environment management resources - Develop System Test Plan and Execute Test Cases - Identify opportunities to leverage automated test execution - Manage Defect Reporting process and collaborate with Developers as needed to isolate root cause of defects. - Prepare test status and participate and report statuses in all test-related project team meetings. - Prepare and deliver final test report. *Required Skills:* *- 8+ years Experience in Test Methodology, being well-versed in the concepts of systems and integration testing* *- 4+ years experience leading multiple projects* *- 2+ years experience managing multiple QA Leads.* *- 4+ years experience performing manual and/or automated systems tests* *- 2+ years of performing on an Agile team or in an XP development environment* - Experience in basic testing methodology and documenting test plans, execution results, and gathering and evaluating test metrics for test reporting - Working knowledge or experience with relational database structures and query techniques - Working knowledge or experience testing data warehouse structures and usage of Ab Initio ETL tools in a Teradata environment - Strong experience and understanding of UNIX & ORACLE environments and demonstrate the ability to write/run Unix-based shell (ksh) and SQL scripting. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills *Education:* - Bachelor of Science or Computer Science related degree required.
