Location: *Chicago, IL* Duration: *6 Months* *Position Description:* Bachelor degree with 3-5 years experience analyzing, designing, developing and implementing portlets for Enterprise portals using SDLC methodology and software development best practices. *Skills Required*: • Portal development • Create build and delpoy to different environment • Performance tuning • service integration with Portal The details we are looking for in the portal space are: -Strong knowledge of websphere portal 6.x on the construction, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Not administration, that is another team. -in depth knowledge on automation/scripting of portal builds and portlet deployment scripts. -knowledge of wily introscope as it relates to portal performance tuning. Beyond that, normal reqs will need these skills at a minimum. -proficiency with suse linux and aix config as it relates to websphere app server. -knowledge of network connectivity in load balanced (bigip and ihs plugin) and firewalled environments. -similar to the items above with websphere app server replacing portal key words.
