*Location*: Livingston, NJ and Fort Worth, TX

*Duration:* 6+ Months contract

*Start:* ASAP**



*Job descriptions:*

Senior Systems Admin with a strong windows background, support level 3 that
has strong VB and power shell scripting.  They will be supporting 84,000
work stations and 4,000 servers.   There is a lot of production support
which is why they need strong scripting.



*Note:* Citrix is a plus not a must and San is a plus not a must.



*Description: *

AIGGS is a worldwide provider of information technology services and
business solutions to a broad range of clients. The Systems Administrator is
responsible for performing level 3 technical administration and problem
resolution including detailed root cause analysis. This position is also
responsible for producing specific deliverables relating to operational
support and management.

*Responsibilities: *

   - Applying advanced systems level technical expertise to resolve highly
   complex systems level customer issues.
   - Support and maintenance of a hosted services environment comprised of
   Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, VMware, and Citrix
   terminal services.
   - Support and maintenance of hardware comprised of multiple server
   hardware platforms.
   - Day-to-day support and participation in any related projects by
   providing technical insight and hands on support.
   - Analyzes problem, develops and implements solutions, and makes
   decisions that significantly improve system availability.
   - Resolves escalated complex issues within established timeframes while
   providing quality customer service.
   - Develop and implement written policies, standards, and guidelines
   related to areas of responsibility.
   - Meet or exceed defined performance metrics and service level agreements

   - Works closely with Engineering and other technical business units to
   increase knowledge and resolve customer issues.
   - Mentors others in providing validated technical information, support
   process instructions and special support requirements.
   - Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
   - Provide support during non-business hours when required.

*Requirements: *

   - Expert level knowledge and support of Active Directory
   - Expert level knowledge and support of Microsoft Windows Operating
   Systems (Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, and Windows NT)
   - Minimum 5 years with hands-on experience in the following
   technologies/protocols:

-          Active Directory

-          System troubleshooting

-          Windows 2000 and 2003 server

-          Windows clustering

-          Server network configuration and troubleshooting

-          VMware configuration and administration

-          ESX configuration and management

-          Citrix configuration and administration

-          System monitoring technology

-          VB and PowerShell Scripting

-          Server hardware (Dell, IBM, HP, etc.)



* Working knowledge of the following technologies/protocols: *

-          ISS

-          SQL

-          Exchange

-          NAS and SAN technologies

-          Backup hardware and software

-          Anti-virus software

-          Network Administration

-          Oral and written skills that communicate professionally and
effectively with a varied audience including peers, management, and the
customer.

-          Familiarity with change management procedures in an
enterprise-class environment and have experience working within the change
process.

-          Experience evaluating and facilitating the recommendation of
various solutions.

-          Experience in an organization with distributed locations and
centralized data centers
