Location: READING, PA Duration: 12 months Required: Face-Face, Telephonic End Client/Client Domain: BARCLAYS WEALTH Description: ***MANAGEMENT DIRECT***IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW***IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT*** CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO INTERVIEW IN PERSON IN READING, PA CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A SQL & UNIX test (we have the test) CANDIDATE MUST HAVE 5 years QA CANDIDATE MUST HAVE BANKING FINANCIAL BACKGROUD Purpose of role * Candidate will be responsible for the accurate testing of a client portfolio reporting system that specializes in Financial Data Processing systems. Specifically, the candidate must be an expert in Back End testing. Main Duties * Create test plans for assigned projects and applications. * Develop test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for assigned projects/applications. * Build SQL queries to validate data * Maintain existing test plans and test cases based on code changes and enhancements to assigned applications * Improve upon available documentation (requirements, test cases, test scenarios) * Perform Regression Test planning and execution * Validate the acquisition, enrichment and consolidation of data * Track issues and work with project managers and developers to resolve. * Create and send issue reports to project team and management during test cycles. * Contribute in the development of knowledge transfer documentation * Provide status to management Key clients (internal and external) * Build Services' Program Managers and Application Developers * Service Management's Production Support and Configuration Management * Barclays Wealth America's Business Sponsor Person Requirements * Ability to be a major player in a team * Strong organizational, time management, communication and follow up skills * Ability to decipher requirements and test scope when documentation is unavailable * Work independently. Attention to details.
