Full-service global investment banking and securities firm is seeking a
Sybase and MSSQL DBA.
*Required Skills: *
· 8-10 years of experience in Sybase ASE 12.x & 15.x on UNIX
platforms.
· Should have extensive experience in implementing, configuring &
troubleshooting Sybase ASE 15.
· Must have experience with upgrading Sybase ASE to version 15
· Must have unix shell scripting skill set.
· Should have experience with upgrading Sybase Replication server to
version 15
· Should be able to hit the ground running & quickly identify the
root cause behind the performance issues, and provide solutions.
· Should have experience dealing with Sybase MDA tables for
performance analysis.
· Aid development teams for analyzing issues.
· Should have excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic & analytical
skills.
· Excellent communication & coordination skills is required.
· Strong initiative and sense of ownership.
· 3-4 years of experience with MSSQL server on windows platform.
· Should have installation, configuration and troubleshooting skills
for MSSQL server.
· Must have experience with upgrading to SQL 2005
