Agile Scrum Team Participation (requirements analysis, design, estimation, development, unit testing, function testing, deployment) 2.Production support, training and education, supporting other teams, improvement and innovation research. *Education:* Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent *Experience:* • 8+ years development experience in Java. • 3+ years experience in a J2EE environment using JBoss, Web Sphere, or Web Logic • 3+ years experience with servlets, JSP, XML, Ajax, and JavaScript *Knowledge and Skills* • Java and Object Oriented Programming *• SQL* • JSP, Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, CSS • Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL databases • XML, XSLT, XML Beans • *Spring, IoC, AOP* • Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design patterns. • Strong understanding of web development performance issues. • Strong understanding of concurrency programming, and threading issues. • *Familiarity with Eclipse, Maven, Subversion* • *Familiarity with Persistence Frameworks: Hibernate, or iBatis.* • *Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Struts and Web Services* • While development is done in a Windows environment, candidate should be comfortable with Unix (Linux). • Ability to work with a geographically diverse team. • Very good written and verbal communication skills • *Familiarity with the Agile SCRUM process* • Committed to test driven development • Significant contributor on at least three major projects.
