Sr. QA Engineer You must possess and demonstrate all of the following attributes: · A good technical skills balance with a strong quality ethic · The ability to quickly grasp technical problems and their implications then take appropriate action · Good analytical and observation skills, matched with an ability to cope with change · Must be personally highly motivated. As with all dynamic organisations, personal commitment is expected to be high · Performing qualification and integration tests against new product introductions · Liaison with Development groups (hardware and software) for test development tasks and supporting investigations and resolution of issues encountered by our customers · Writing or modifying test scripts or programs using the Python programming language. · SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE The successful candidate is likely to meet the following basic requirements: · Good degree in either an engineering or computing discipline · At least five years practical experience of the whole test cycle including test plan and test script development. · Experience in the storage/ enterprise server industry · Adaptable and hard-working, takes ownership, and able to work with minimal supervision · Functional, regression, system testing experience · Ability to develop automated tests · Team player with excellent communication skills · Experience in a number of the following areas: o UNIX / Windows environments o File sharing protocols o TCP/IP Networks o Microsoft Networking o File Systems o (SMB/CIFS, NFS) o iSCSI Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
