Location: *NYC* Duration: *6 Months* *C++ / Oracle/Informatica Developer*** *SUMMARY:* The candidate will be a Senior Oracle, Informatica and C++ developer and work in the global team of 6 team members. The project is to enhance, maintain, build and deliver a Derivatives Results Store (RDB – Results Database). The RDB stores Risk and PnL data for two Derivatives Risk Management Systems. The system is global and operates 24*6. The goal for 2011 is to take RDB to the next level in terms of its architecture and supportability and reporting capabilities. *REQUIRED:* • Oracle, Informatica and C++ development. • Work as a senior developer for the US based development, including acting as a lynch-pin between Asia team and NY team. • C++ development • Work with Team Lead, Business Analyst and Project Manager to plan, allocate and deliver on projects. • Resolve New York production and operational issues, actively working with first line support. • Subject matter expert on database design patterns and common issues leading key design and architectural discussions. • Ambassador for the product and the project. • Ability to work under strenuous schedules when necessary. • Experience operating under changing schedules. • Support alongside development projects. • Oracle development experience - 5+ years. • Informatica development experience – 2+ years. • C++ development experience – 2+ years • Shell scripting and Perl a plus. • Experience leading development in a fast paced environment. • Experience designing database systems, data warehouse and C++ systems. • Experience delivering in a large corporate environment. • Strong team building and interpersonal skills a must. • Must be able to demonstrate client focus. • Computing Science degree or equivalent. • Knowledge of Derivatives products a plus, though not critical. -Developer on a fast moving core Derivatives system.
