*Title*: Java developer *Location*: Boston, MA (Need F2F interview after telephonic round) *Duration*: 6+ months *Rate*: Market *Description*: Our financial services client needs a solid Java/J2EE developer, well versed in Oracle PL/SQL, to work on Risk Management and Performance Attribution applications for an investment firm. These are relatively complex quantitative applications so the consultant should have some background in CS, Engineering, Math, or other quant related disciplines. Investment industry experience is not absolutely required but, realistically, the consultant should have some background here. Work is roughly split 40% Java and 60% Oracle PL/SQL. It will initially involve enhancements to existing applications but there are several new development efforts beginning at the turn of the year.
