The position queries data and designs database reports using MS SQL platforms or report writing tools based on business needs. This position also provides problem solving and strategic solutions to business need. Candidate must be deadline driven with excellent prioritization skills, team player, ambitious, organized and be able to work in high-pressured environment. *Job Duties: * Develop SQL Server Reporting Services reports using stored procedures and advanced business logic Design, develop and deploy new changes to data warehouse as business requirements change Query optimization and performance tuning and develop SQL Server Integration Services packages General SQL Server Administration to include creating jobs, maintaining jobs, alerts, backups and transactional replication. *Essential Functions:* Responsible for effective manipulation and calculation of data, which can be analyzed and turned into business information and presented to senior management to move business results forward. Responsible for developing and optimizing complex data and reporting solutions using TSQL, including: Creating tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, error handling, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Responsible for leading, developing and optimizing reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to author, manage, and deliver dynamic, interactive, drill-down web-based reports. Responsible for working with extremely large data sources from multiple platforms. Gather and import data, and analyze results. Work closely with team to suggest and implement process improvements.
