Position: Core Java developer Location: NY/NJ Duration: 6+ Months *Locals or Nearby * *Face to Face must after telephonic * *Recent Financial or banking exp is preferred * *Job Summary & Responsibilities* • Required Core Java, Web Technologies - Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, JSP • SQL (Sybase preferred, although experience with other relational databases will suffice). • Perl, Shell scripting, Linux/Unix, CVS. • Experience of test driven development and unit testing would be advantageous. • Experience with CSS, XML, XSL, Swing, Tomcat, JBoss, Hibernate is a plus. • Familiarity with the SDLC and ability to apply it to deliverables • Good communication skills and ability to interact with the business users. • Ability to integrate with the existing team both locally and in remote locations. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively. • Motivation to deliver technology solutions in a dynamic business environment. • Strong sense of ownership and drive to manage tasks to completion, attention to detail.
