Title: Sr Business Siebel Analyst (Siebel Consultant) Duration: 6 months+ Location: Waltham MASS *Job Title*: Senior Business Systems Analyst/Data Architect *Department*: IT *Reports to*: IT Analyst * * *Position Summary* * * We are seeking a candidate to join our MIS organization. In this role the right candidate will be performing tasks such as data standardization, application configuration, specification development, data manipulation, analyzing and troubleshooting issues and tracking them to the development team. * * *Position Responsibilities* In this role the right candidate will be performing tasks such as data standardization, application configuration, specification development, data manipulation, analyzing and troubleshooting issues and tracking them to the development team. This individual will work with cross functional team members to enhance and develop future releases as well as perform unit testing in the development instance as the project reaches the Build/Test stages. Assist with additional testing as the projects progress through to production release and production support. * * *Scope/Level of Decision Making:* Work is collaborative in nature, with an objective to work independently and as part of a team. Candidate will provide regular updates to manager on project/account status. The individual will contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project. Candidate is expected to assist senior staff members with a variety of job responsibilities. * * * * * * *Knowledge/Skills/Experience:* · Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems and 6 years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience · 6+ years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Systems Analyst or Integration Specialist with data warehouse knowledge, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Informatica, .Net, search engines · The candidate is also required to communicate within MIS, development and business owners to support and deliver quality services. Some light travel may be required for some projects · The individual must have a strong background in Business Intelligence Reporting systems and integrations that gather and store data from multiple sources · A general understanding of the functionality of CRM, licensing, billing systems, revenue, web applications and search engines is a must. · The Individual must be self-motivated and inquisitive · Proven track record of planning and meeting goals · Good knowledge of business processes · Working knowledge of information systems system and concepts · Competency with PC and desktop applications (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, etc.) · Working knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures · Experience using formal development processes and/or methodologies and develop documents, test, support and implement software applications · Must be experienced with XML, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, SMTP, DTS, SSIS, Oracle Databases, SQL Server Databases, Knowledge of informatica, MSMQ and API experience a plus.
