Purpose Prudent Technologies is looking for a skilled DBA for our client that can be part of a major strategic initiative, designing & developing cutting edge BI solutions in Carrollton, TX. II. Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users; clarify data quality questions and system features; troubleshoot interface failures and involve next support tier when appropriate. Experienced in database capacity planning, performance tuning and optimization. Work with software development groups and other members of IT team to provide consistency in all support and operation areas of data integrity and data management. Candidate must have experience with Data Warehousing/BI development, with hands-on experience using: ü SQL-Server best practices and integration with other MS platforms, such as SharePoint and Outlook, for distribution and delivery of data. ü Strong experience with stored procedure development. ü Provide SQL-Server 2008 administration and data recovery processes. ü SQL Server 2005/2008 (Integration Services (SSIS) ü Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS), Reporting Services (SSRS ü SSIS (SQL-Server Integration Services) - ETL development ü Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Transaction Replication ü SSRS (SQL-Server Reporting Services) - Standard, Multi-Tab, Drill-Up/Down reporting ü SSAS (SQL-Server Analytical Services) - Dashboards, Data Visualization, Cubes ü SSMS (SQL-Server Management Studio) III. Requirements: BS in Computer Science 5 years experience in administration and support of production SQL databases in 24x7 mission critical environment Data warehousing and BI experience is required. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
