*Duties and Responsibilities:*
Participate in customer requirements gathering and design meetings.
Produce conceptual design approaches using a standardized methodology,
such as UML.
Develop functional requirements defining the desired behavior of a
chosen design approach.
Produce technical design documents for a chosen design and continue to
maintain such documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop software changes in accordance with design specifications in
order to meet system functional requirements.
Review design and code of junior web services developers and provide
feedback and verification support.
Produce more efficient ways to solve code or design issues
Work with development team to ensure code is well organized and
conforms to applicable coding standards.
Perform all levels of testing: unit, functional, system, and
integration to ensure all requirements and quality standards are met.
Support internal practice development activities including the continued
development of coding standards, procedures, and protocols related to the
delivery of web service customizations.
