Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills are required. *Required skills* • Excellent writing skills • Excellent communication and listening skills • Excellent customer service skills • Attention to detail • 7+ years of *OLTP* (relational) modeling experience – It must be current • Excellent knowledge of SQL • Excellent communication, analysis, organization and documentation skills • Able to develop efficient ETL designs • Experience with ERWin • Proficient in Microsoft tools (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio) *Desired skills* • Experience modeling OLTP designs for DB2 LUW • Experience with SSIS ETL Tools • Experience with DB2 (mainframe) (The existing OLTP resides in DB2 for the mainframe) The successful candidate will become a member of the New Development team developing the new application. They will work closely with the project leads, project architect, and other personnel to review database requirements. They will develop an OLTP (relational) model for the new application. This model will be used to build a database in DB2 LUW. They will develop the strategy to convert existing data to the new structures and design the mapping and ETL procedures to move the data from the existing databases to the new one.
