*Qualifications:*
· BSA/Technical Systems Analyst role with minimum 5-6+ yrs
experience · Sophis product - Experience in equities, fixed income,
foreign exchange and commodities product w.r.t functional and technical
areas. Should know the architecture of the product · Oracle 10g,
SQL-Server 2005, Crystal Reports, DB Analysis and DB Programming (like OLAP
concepts - Drill down views) · XML, File handling, Scripting, Perl,
Scripting · Architecture/design experience in building
enterprise-wide framework or using similar/BI tools for a heterogeneous
environment (Solaris, Windows & Open Source platforms) template/formats
using XML or other standards for various feeds in recon processes ·
Understanding
and exposure to Finance concepts within middle/back office area. · Good
comm. and intra personal skills, ability to deal with business groups ·
Flexible attitude and independent/solution mindset – to build solutions by
defining problem statement · Experience SDLC with exposure to
RAD/Agile development model experience * * *Key Result Areas*
- Implement assigned tasks with minimal direction and proactively
identify and resolve unassigned issues.
- Liaise with the author of requirements documents and functional
specifications to clarify ambiguities.
- Provide ongoing support and support maintenance activities.
- Exhibit or acquire appropriate business knowledge to provide adequate
context to development tasks
- Ability to understand CM business requirements
- Ability to expand business requirements for iGATE IT team (focus on
doing FTR (First-Time Right)
- Adept at multi-tasking and responding to changing priorities.
- Communicates effectively with team members, especially to resolve
ambiguities or conflicting interests.
- Consistently exhibits a positive attitude and encourages such an
attitude throughout the team.
- Takes the initiative to improve technical skills and business
knowledge.
