Location : MONTEREY, California Duration: 3 months extendable The Job Description is as follows: · A minimum of 3 years of working knowledge on mainframe IBM MVS z/OS, TSO/ISPF, Librarian, Sysview, JCL, Comparex and SAS; and Windows-based operating systems and tools. For example, Windows XP and Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word and Project), · 3 years of experience in the extensive use of SAS as a reporting and diagnostic tool. · Working knowledge of defect tracking tools such as mercury Quality Center #,,Demonstrated analytical ability in review of test results versus test plans and case matrices. · Aptitude for attention to detail in the planning, organization and conduct of testing activities. · Proven active participation in implementation of standardized testing techniques and maintenance of test documentation. · Ability to communicate effectively and considerately with both technical and non-technical staff. · Experience in working under very tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred: ========= A minimum of two years experience in test plan/case preparation, software testing and defect analysis and resolution Experience in software quality assurance procedures, methods and root cause analysis.
