*Title*: Java and RF developer *Location*: Pittsburgh, PA *Duration*: 2-3 months (extendable) *Rate*: Market *Description*: *Senior Java and RF Developer* Senior Java developer with 6 - 8 years of overall IT experience and experience in at least 2 RF implementations of Java based applications. Should have worked on RF enabling Java applications on handheld devices and should have experience in bar-coding technologies, various handheld devices/scanners, wireless access points, wireless terminal emulation products such as wavelink and stay-linked, good knowledge on emulation types and wireless security. Possess strong design and technical skills with deep knowledge of mid-tier and database concepts, practices and procedures. ** · Analyze the requirements for the RF functionality and suggest the appropriate RF device and wireless access point · Configure wireless access point taking into consideration all the wireless security requirements · Recommend the hardware and software requirements (Includes Servers and RF Guns to be used) - Install and configure Servers (based on recommendation Wavelink Server or Stay-link servers will be used) - Configure the RF device to be able to communicate with the Wavelink / Staylink server.
