The position requires strong knowledge of the Oracle essbase olap tool combined with an understanding of MS SQL and unix shell scripting. The developer will be part of a team first expanding existing reporting solution then developing a new essbase application complete with ETL layer. The ideal candidate will have good understanding of the following essabase concepts partitioning, EIS\AIS, and configuration settings for performance tuning. Financial reporting experience would be a plus but not required. * * *Primary Role Responsibilities* •Working with peers and project leadership, to identify strategies for the migration of applications from Development to Test to Production as per organizational guidelines, best practices and standard processes, and participate in the migration process. •Lead testing and quality assurance efforts for budgeting/forecasting/reporting functionality as well as validation of inbound/outbound data interfaces. •Develop medium-to-high complexity applications utilizing technical knowledge and experience regarding scripts, business rules, and similar functionality within Oracle essbase applications. •Build the Outline dimensions dynamically using EIS/AIS. •Contribute to the overall knowledge and expertise of the organization through sharing of knowledge and experience with peers.
