The position is for a member of the core team responsible for developing the Encounter capabilities for TriCare. The Encounter platform is a strategic component of the TriCare program and has high visibility within the organization. This application will be high volume transactional platform driven by complex rules and business processes. Preferred candidate must be a Senior Developer with experience with complex development activities. Knowledge and Skills: • 5+ years experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting complex computing applications in a large scale environment • Tricare experience or familiarity with Tricare systems a plus. • Experience in the Healthcare Industry, Claims processing and/or encounters (Medicare, Medicaid or TED) environment is preferred. • Experience working in an Agile Scrum project is preferable • Technology experience: o Spring Core 2.5 o Spring Batch 2.0 o Rich Faces 3 o JPA (Persistence) o Oracle 10g o WebSphere 6.x and 7.x is a plus • Experience with rules engine(s); iLOG preferred. • Experience with BPM packages • Use of Service Oriented Architecture in high volume transaction environments • UML expertise e.g. Statecharts, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Component Diagrams and experience with the Rational Rose or Rational Software Architect -- Infotech Spectrum Inc.
