Responsible for only performance testing the applications; not full life cycle. Top 3-5 REQUIRED skills and years of experience: A strong Performance test engineer needed to write, validate and execute Load Runner Performance test scripts against Web applications, web services and SQL server. Typically 7-10 years of Performance testing experience. Skills needed: Load Runner, Performance Center 9.5, Quality center, QTP 1. Experience in writing Performance test plans 2. Load Runner experience using Citrix and Web service protocols 3. Analyze the results from performance tests focusing on application performance, availability and capacity. 4. Knowledge of web page composition (static vs. dynamic elements, browser behavior, etc.) 5. Understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and DNS 6. Understanding of networking and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, jsp, asp, Flash, Siebel etc. 7. Programming Experience in the language the web site is coded in Web services, C#, ASP.Net <http://asp.net/>, Java script 8. Ability to troubleshoot issues in the load and performance test environment 9. Testing Tools: Quality Center, Performance Center, QTP, Vugen Desired Experience: XML knowledge is preferred for custom coding. QTP In this role, you will be responsible for reading the business requirement documents and preparing the Performance test plan. You will also write Load runner scripts, troubleshoot issues in the scripts and write custom code if needed. Execute the test scripts in performance center and analyze the results.
