Requirements for:
Test Automation Developer (TAD)
Role:
o Member of test team as a developer or provides assistance as a
developer for one or more projects across one or more teams.
o skilled in the practical use of testing tools
o Trains end users on usage of testing tools
o Administers the testing tools
o Provides information on upgraded and new testing tools
o Performs technical testing
Responsibilities: Design, implementation and trouble shooting of test
scripts and libraries, setup of test workstations for automation.
Mentoring new TADs on assigned project/s, compiling reports for project
status, conducting automation design and coding reviews for assigned
project/s.
Suggested Minimum Skills: Excel, Word, SQL, Visual Basic and advanced
QTP
Additional Suggested skills: VBScript, Unix/AIX, Object Oriented
Programming and Networking
Soft Skills: Good communication and documentation skills, self
motivated, analytical, leadership, ability to mentor other team members
