Job Requirements: Technical Requirements: • Minimum 4 years of combined Cognos experience including Cognos Series 8.3 experience, Cognos Transformer (data cube development) and Cognos Reports Studio development. • 2 years of Informatica (,7.1) experience desired. • 2 years of Perl Scripting experience using Perl in UNIX environment to manipulate files, parse data and manage parallel processes - desired. • 2 years of UNIX shell scripting - desired. • Intermediate to advanced Knowledge of Oracle DBMS, version 9i or higher required. • Minimum 4 years of experience in PL/SQL development, (Stored Procedures, Packages, etc), as well as SQL DDL and DML. • Advanced ability to tune Oracle SQL. • Proven track record of successful troubleshooting database related issues. • Minimum 5 years experience in the IT industry working in the area of application development. • Minimum 2 years experience in technical design role. • Strong ability to communicate effectively within the development team. • Strong ability to work independently to implement functionality from business requirements or high level technical design. * * *Position: 2* * * *Sr. C# Developer in Waynesboro, VA (20-25 miles west of Charlottesville, VA)* Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and transportation (public transportation really sketchy in this area) Our client in Waynesboro, VA is looking to add several highly motivated C#, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> contract developers to their team.
