*Title*: Infrastructure Project Manager *Location*: Reno, NV *Duration*: 12 months *Rate*: Keep it low *Description*: * Lead project teams and site visits. *Coordinate with the project team members to achieve the installation schedule. * Coordinate with the vendor to identify, track & resolve site issues & open items. *Coordinate with the vendor to schedule site commissioning. *Maintain project estimates & justify budget variances on a per site basis. *Maintain schedules, matrices & reports as required. *Report status as required to the NV Energize project manager *Skills* *Coordinate the development of project scope *Costing/Scheduling for large multi-discipline complex utility projects He/she will provide management, strategic direction, leadership and coordination to ensure project deliverables are met, completed on-time and within the established cost constraints. Responsibilities for both positions include the administration, full performance & success of utility infrastructure projects, including communications, substation, transmission, distribution, environmental and lands components. Establishes work plan and staff requirements for each phase of project, and arranges for assignment of project personnel. Negotiates & coordinates critical issues with internal and external customers to ensure project success. Coordinates project activities to obtain approvals from government & regulatory agencies. Keywords Education ( 1) a comprehensive knowledge of engineering practices and procedures with an emphasis on electrical transmission, substation and/or distribution facility design/construction (2) Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management. (3) Professional Engineering registration (PE) and/or Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is preferred.
