*Title:* SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER
*Location:* Houston, TX
*Duration:* 6 Months
SharePoint Developer needed to develop custom SharePoint code in a
SharePoint Foundation 2010 environment.
*KNOWLEDGE *
• SharePoint 2010 knowledge will include web part development, workflows,
event handlers, web services development, server configuration, deploying
and supporting an enterprise SharePoint implementation.
• Demonstrated knowledge and development experience with Microsoft .NET
technologies using Visual Studio is required (ASP.NET 3.x/4.x, C#, XML,
etc.).
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
• Knowledgeable writing Microsoft Power Shell Scripts.
• Knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS
frameworks.
• Knowledge of Subversion for version control is a plus.
*EXPERIENCE
*
• Extensive coding experience with SharePoint web parts, features,
workflows, event handlers, web services, etc. Minimum version MOSS 2007/WSS
3.0. Prefer SharePoint 2010 experience.
• Extensive experience coding with .Net in an enterprise using Visual
Studio.
• Experience working with software design principles and the Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
*
• Design, document and implement custom SharePoint code within the SDLC
process.
• Provide on-going support for existing applications
• Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites
• Provide consultation on SharePoint customization projects for other
developers
*QUALIFICATIONS*
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or
related field preferred.
• Four or more years of experience in software development.
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*OTHER QUALIFICATIONS*
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly
complex software design issues and create new software for multiple
products.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior customers, management
and team members.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and senior
support personnel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
