*Position:* .Net/Oracle Developer *Location:* Trumbull, CT *Duration:* 6 months *Job Details:* The expert .net/Oracle developer is responsible for working with the Architects, PM’s and Business Owners to design and build solutions that meet the business needs. *Primary responsibilities include:* • Works with Project Management and Senior Architects on application design and development. • Develops applications, components and services using C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET to meet the business needs. • Uses Oracle expertise to fine tune and ensure that applications and services are using best practices for oracle data access. • Works closely with Project Management, QA and development teams to drive projects through to completion • Participates in code review process for peers • Adheres to quality development standards • Evaluates business requirements and processes to provide accurate estimates for development efforts. *Required background and qualifications include:* • Understands the principles of Object Orientation Programming and design. • Understanding of Oracle database development using PL/SQL, packages and procedures. • Experienced developing web-based applications using C#, ASP .NET, VBScript/ASP, JavaScript and HTML • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for full software development life cycle • Ability to perform the job functions with minimal instructions and pre-established guidelines • Strong understanding of development lifecycle, SDLC processes and guidelines. • Experience with Oracle Connection Pooling, SQL Tuning, Oracle Explain Plan, Oracle tracing *Job Qualifications:* • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred or relevant work experience in the development field. • Minimum of four years of hands-on experience working with a combination of C#, ASP .NET, IIS 6 & 7 • Must be able to work independently and efficiently within a diverse and fast paced, team-oriented environment • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Broad Knowledge and experience related to computer systems and technologies. o Knowledge of the following would be a plus: MVC, WCF, WPF, Hibernate, J2EE Thanks N' Regards, Vikram M** Revosys IT Inc.** 108-31, 47th Avenue, Corona, NY 11363 Ph: 347 468 7163 | Fax: 347 649 2053 [email protected] | www.revosysIT.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
