The analyst must be able to comprehend complex business requirements and translate the requirements into a functional requirements package including: business requirements document, RFI/RFP, system interface specification, user interface specification, and report specification under the guidelines of SVB's SDLC documentation framework. Communicates status and obtains approval for requirements documentation. The candidate should have a good understanding of system/solution design and the skills to provide input to the proposed solution, as well as verify that the proposed solution will meet the business requirements. Solid written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills are mandatory, along with an orientation to detail, deadlines and working knowledge of MS Windows applications such as Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Communicates status, proposed solution, influences and obtains approval for requirement documentation. The candidate must be flexible and have experience dealing with ambiguity and changing strategies. Possesses exceptional client management skills and is self-directed. Experience participating in systems analysis and data analysis preferred. SUPERVISION: Receives minimal instruction. EXPERIENCE: 7 or more years of experience including demonstrated lead role in requirements elicitation and documentation. The ideal candidate has BA experience in the financial services arena including demonstrated requirements and implementation expertise, as well as experience interfacing with offshore development teams and QA testers. Experience participating in systems analysis and data analysis is a plus. Work experience in the US preferred.
