Core Skills Required: • Experience in C, C++, Java programming language • Working experience on Linux • Should have used various Java (Android) profiling tools on Linux. • Should be aware of computer science concepts (OS concepts – threads/processes, memory management,….), data structures,… • Should have UI experience on Android. • Should be aware of Application framework on Android. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CE, EE (minimum). Masters degree a plus. Experience: 3+ years relevant work experience. Start Date: Immediate 2. Position: Android – Application Team Lead Location: Bridgewater, NJ Project: Android Application Development Project Duration: Mar 10th – Dec 31st 2011, with possible extension Number of Positions: 1 Purpose/Role: Team Lead for Android application development team involved in performance & memory optimization, Development, testing of Android devices Main Responsibility Area: • Lead a team of engineers involved in development and testing of Android devices • Point of contact for the customer in coordinating project deliveries • Gather requirements from the customer and come up with delivery milestones and work towards achieving it with the assigned team • Providing regular project reports to customer. • Coordinating within teams (external/internal) at customer location. • Technically involved in mentoring the team of engineers in their day to day activities which would be - performance & memory optimization, Development, testing on Android devices Core Skills Required: • 6+ years of experience in C++ and/or Java programming language • Working experience on Linux • Should have used various Java (Android) profiling tools on Linux. • Should be aware of computer science concepts (OS concepts – threads/processes, memory management,….), data structures • Should have UI experience on Android. • Should be aware of Application framework on Android. • Experience of Multimedia experience, understanding of codec at interface level, experience in Openmax development – Definite plus. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CE, EE (minimum). Masters degree a plus. Experience: 7+ years relevant work experience.
