*POSITION PURPOSE*
The SSI Trading Partner Senior Analyst will be responsible for the assisting
the SSI Trading Partner Project Manager in management, coordination, and
testing of x12 transactions (837, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277) between CHW
billing systems, clearing houses, and trading partners.
*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Assist in developing strategic approach to conduct transaction
testing with clearing houses and trading partners.
· Coordinate with SSI Trading Partner Test Lead, TCS testing team,
Integration, and SSI vendor, Trading Partners and Clearing Houses.
· Assist in development and management of project plan, budget,
issues, and risks.
· Assist in development of test plan and training plan.
· Access and communicate business and users impact.
· Serve as liaison between the 5010 Program, its Stakeholders, CHW
Billing Operations, CHW Patient Accounting System Teams and Testing Leads.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
*Academic:*
Bachelors’ degree in computer technology, healthcare
administration, or equivalent experience.
*Experience:*
Experience with HIPAA X12 EDI transactions (837/835, 270/271,
276/277) and connectivity.
Strong health care experience (Provider and Payer).
Strong testing experience.
Strong project management experience.
SSI experience a plus.
CHW experience a plus.
Experience in identifying requirements, and coordinating with
integration team and vendor.
Experience in business systems design or business process analysis
or systems QA testing.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*
Ability to research and document business processes and related
system requirements.
Possesses a structured, process-oriented, problem solving
mentality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to consult
with business office personnel and facilitate the creation of effective
solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of revenue cycle in a healthcare provider
operation.
Knowledge of v4010A1 HIPAA transactions and the Implementation
Guides.
Knowledge of v5010 HIPAA transactions .
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks
and meet deadlines.
Understanding of testing methodology, including Unit testing,
Integration testing, System testing, and User Acceptance testing.
Highly self-motivated and attentive to detail.
Ability to work in a complex and matrix-oriented team environment.
Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
