*JOB TITLE : ASP.Net Developer Must have Investment banking industry experience. Location : Midtown, NY Duration : 6 months Rate : $500/Day* Position Title: ASP.Net Developer - Must have Investment banking industry experience. Hands-on developer on a small focused technology team servicing the Credit Bond e-Trading Business. This individual would be responsible for; Overall Responsibilities: Development of the Credit eTrading Platform. Role will include development of the front, middle and database tiers of this n-tier application. Development of new software to specification Design of new software components and services. Maintenance of existing base of software for multiple front office applications. Second-line support existing applications (i.e. escalation from support to development team) Test Systems (e.g. unit, system, integration, stress, regression, migration. The project is in-flight and this individual will be required to work with the established team. The core team is comprised of a Project Manager, a Technical Lead, a BA/QA, and 5 Developers. In addition, the role requires close coordination with outside ECNs and a number of impacted groups including Trade Processing, Position Management. Candidate Profile 7-8 years working in a commercial environment, ideally with experience of banking or other financial institutions. Minimum 5 years C#, .NET 3.5+ ASP.NET, 3rd party grid controls Well rounded individual with good all round technical skills and a good problem solver. Strong middle tier integration experience. Experience in building Trading applications. Experience in FIX protocol would be a plus Experience of Bloomberg and Fixed Income instruments would be an advantage.
