*JOB TITLE: Business Analyst LOCATION: Baltimore, MD Length : 12+ months. Phone+ FTF is a must. * Required Skills . The candidate will need to have atleast 9 years of exp · Extensive technical experience (min 6-7 years) with requirements analysis efforts for large scale successful IT system implementations. · Requirements analysis experience with identifying services and defining processing requirements in a SOA environment is a must. · Business Process Modeling experience to visualize, document, model and analyze business processes for understanding and process execution in a SOA environment is a must. · Experience eliciting requirements that lead to identification of business rules is required · Demonstrated experience with handling requirements elicitation efforts spanning diverse, large and geographically disparate stakeholder sets using RAD/JAD techniques. · Proven ability to document and progressively elaborate requirements using use-cases; to develop general user requirements, detailed functional requirements and system specifications. · Proven experience with the following tool sets: Rational Requisite Pro, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio · Demonstrated experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP) · Ability to communicate verbally and in writing (including e-mail) at a professional level and to distill complex technical and management data to a laypersons understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy. · Ability to organize complex concepts in written or presentation formats. Ability to clearly present information, verbally and in writing, to audiences of diverse technical backgrounds. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, innovative and creative. · Ability to use Microsoft office suite for creating documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations for analysis often with no template or guide.
