This person will work within a team of analytics consultants, systems analysts, database developers and system administrators providing Production Support, Application Integration, Integration Engineering, and Code Management for an Oracle/PLSQL based Data Warehouse. *Job Roles: * · Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's databases. · Consults with and provides guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic solutions. · Performs moderately complex server-class database activities across various platforms and environments including one or more of the following: business requirement identification and analysis; conceptual, logical, and/or physical database design; data modeling and/or mapping; moderate to complex programming and coding to automate and/or support the database environment; performance monitoring and tuning; analyzing database metrics and assisting with capacity planning; planning, testing, configuration and execution of installations, upgrades and migrations; and implementing security controls. · May participate in the development of data/ database architectures and management policies, procedures and standards · Provides 24/7 technical support for production incidents. · Leads the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements. · Completes required logs and reports. · Updates and completes documentation, procedures and user guides. · Understands BCP, quality assurance, information security and compliance requirements for supported areas and analyzes changes for risk to the environment. · Participates in testing and environment validation efforts. · Participates in overall systems testing for interfacing systems of record. · Leads the migration of data warehouse changes to production. *Minimum Qualifications:* · 5 years of Oracle Database Development with PL/SQL · 3 Years Development with Informatica Power Center · Familiarity and experience operating in an Enterprise environment using formal procedures and policies required for escalation and outage resolution. · Strong documentation skills. · Strong knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) · Well organized and proficient with details, · Excellent interpersonal and team skills · Self directed and motivated. · Able to navigate through a rapidly changing business and technical environment. *Technology Skills Needed:* - System Platforms - Oracle (Sun) - Operating Systems – UNIX, Solaris - Database Versions – Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g - Database Utilities – Datapump, SQL Loader - Programming Languages – SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Script, Informatica Powercenter 8.x - GUI/ Reporting Tools – Cognos, Crystal Reports 6/10, VB 6, VB.Net, PowerBuilder - Development Tools/Utilities - TOAD, Embarcadero, Test Tools / Debugging / File Processors - TOAD Debug, various mainframe tools * * *Best Regards* * * *Satya Dowluri * *Sure IT Solutions Inc.* *1801 W Queen Creek RD, Suite # 3, Chandler, AZ 85248* *Tel: 602-334-4209** **Fax: (866) 322-0121* Email: [email protected] | [email protected] LinkedIn : http://www.linkedin.com/pub/satya-dowluri-lion/7/848/5a gTalk: [email protected] | YIM: satya.sureit <[email protected]> URL : http://www.sureitinc.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
