*The Application Deployment Engineer’s responsibilities shall include:*
•Manage the application deployment life cycle and look to increase systemic
efficiencies
•Will be the lead escalation point for any issues with the deployment of an
application in SCCM
•Interface with numerous deployment, integration, desktop, and project
management teams to complete end user requests
•Must interact with Core and other Line Of Business Deployment teams to
review new deployment technologies, along with being involved in the
implementation
•Recognize & manage firm's financial and operational risks
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external
clients
•Review and / or re-engineering of processes
*Required:*
•3-5 years of experience with: SMS 2003/SCCM 2007
•Highly knowledgeable and experienced in deploying Virtualized Applicationsvia
*Symantec or Microsoft App-V 4.5, Microsoft Windows Installer*
•Knowledge of SCCM utilizing Active Directory is necessary for this role.
**These technologies deliver the integrated product to the
user's desktop.
**It is essential that a technician be proficient in managing
these systems
•Strong project management experience
•Basic understanding of .MSI
•Previous exposure to Oracle, Sybase & MS SQL database clients
•Understanding of the Client/Server application model
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Basic understanding of Business Continuity and Resiliency
•An understanding of the desktop operating environment, high deductive
reasoning and problem solving skills
*Highly Desired:*
•Good working knowledge of the PC build process, including, sub site codes
and patch maintenance •Citrix Deployment and Tools •VDI & Vmware
