*6 Months* * * WebSphere Portal Developers with a proven background in the delivery of complex WebSphere Portal based solutions. As a member of our Portal Practice, you will be responsible for providing consulting services for the design and development of J2EE and WebSphere Portal based solutions to our Global 3000 client base using industry-leading products and technologies. Responsibilities involve the participation in design and development efforts; applying appropriate design patterns and best practices; develop and unit test J2EE and WebSphere Portal based solutions. Regular travel to client locations is required. * * *Qualifications:* * Must have held the role of a Developer for enterprise-scale, J2EE-based solutions for large organizations * Must have participated in the design and development of WebSphere Portal based solutions * 5+ years of information technology and software development experience including server-side Java/J2EE, web-based application development (HTML, Javascript, AJAX, XML), Servlet/JSP development, J2EE framework development experience (Struts, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, etc.), * WebSphere Portal v6+ design and development experience (JSR-168, JSR-268, WSRP, etc.) * Web Service development experience (WSDL, SOAP, REST) * Experience in development of themes, skins, portlets, WCM taxonomy development, WCM authoring workflows preferred. * Experience in Lotus Connections integration desirable. * RAD, Portlet Factory, and/or Eclipse IDE * Excellent communication skills (effective oral and written skills) * Bachelors degree in a technical discipline required, Masters degree preferred.
