Looking for a hard core technical person on People soft experienced in GL,
AP and AM (GL and AP being high priority) modules and usage of JCL, DB2,
SQR, PS tools, Crystal Reports. Accounting background and functional
knowledge is a big plus. All Candidates MUST HAVE experience working, at
some point in a mainframe environment, and MUST HAVE JCL and TSO.
Candidates must be more technical than functional.

Position Description (Summary and Essential Duties)
This position is responsible for development and technical support of the
PeopleSoft Financial Applications.

Position Responsibility:
• Provide technical expertise for PeopleSoft Financial Modules as
appropriate for development and application support
• Produce detailed technical designs to meet user requirements and I.T.
development standards
• Work closely with the functional staff to determine the appropriate
solution to client requests for change
• Maintain existing, develop new or modify PeopleSoft Financial Application
menus, panels, panel groups, records and tables, etc
• Assist or lead in analyzing new releases of PeopleSoft Applications or
PeopleTools and evaluating the impact of custom modifications and/or new
system functionality
• Participate in the planning and execution of System Integration and User
Acceptance testing of new releases and custom modifications
• Play a key role in the evaluation of change requests to insure they are
properly integrated with existing PeopleSoft Financials functionality or
recommend modifications that will be consistent with the North American and
Global application direction
• Assist in developing functional design specifications and develop
technical design specifications
• Work with other Information Technology teams to coordinate and facilitate
the successful implementation of all custom modifications and new releases
of PeopleSoft
• Ensure development meets business requirements as appropriate
• Participate in Technical Design Reviews
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of five years PeopleSoft technical experience; including hands-on
expertise implementing/developing/supporting the Financials Applications
(must have experience with General Ledger and Accounts Payable modules).
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of PeopleSoft development platform,
including proficiency developing with PeopleTools 8.x, Application
Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Crystal and Application Engine.
• Minimum of three years experience working with PeopleSoft Internet
Architecture (PIA) - Application Servers, Process Schedulers and Web
Servers (must have experience with configuring/troubleshooting the PIA
components for CIT’s specific platform).
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft data model, PeopleTools Metadata
structures and the interface to PeopleSoft application structure (tables
related to each module).
• Minimum of three years experience with PeopleSoft running on the zOS/DB2
platform. Proficiency with TSO, JCL and DB2 on the mainframe.
• Ability to communicate directly with end-users to handle support issues.
This is either in person, over the phone or via email, but the
communication skills to deal with business customers is an essential
requirement.****

CIT is looking for a technical business analyst with strong financial
analysis experience. This position will reside in the systems and
technology group and interact with the financial accounting group
performing analysis on the reconciliation of accounts between systems and
the PeopleSoft general ledger. Candidate must have proven experience in
financial business analysis, tying disparate data sources back to the GL
using excel/MS access. Candidate will work with accounting users and
systems users to clearly define requirements around data sources, matching
rules, reporting specifications, etc. Candidate may be required to write
SQL as a part of account validation as well as run PeopleSoft reports.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be a critical member of the Corporate Technologies team,
focusing on initiatives sponsored by our Legal and Compliance business
partners. .

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
The project manager will be responsible for day to day project management
responsibilities for a product implementation in support of our BSA/AML
program.  This project is one of many initiatives identified as critical
for CIT’s transformation to a Bank Holding company.
We have purchased a product that will be challenging to integrate into our
current environment, and will require significant technology enhancements.
This project is just about to begin and we are looking for the candidate to
be responsible for this initiative from start to finish.

The candidate will be required to:
• Work with business partners to define and document requirements.
• Become primary point of contact for all technology components of the
project implementation.
• Work very closely with vendor project management team to manage the
project plans and to act as liaison to the CIT business and technology
organizations.
• Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure a structured and
effective implementation.  Own the project schedule, project communications
and project financials.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Candidate should possess the following:
• Business experience in the Compliance/Risk space, specifically with Bank
Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering requirements, KYC and Watch List
monitoring.
• Experience with vendor management, including managing the financial
aspects of the contract – invoicing, project costs, etc.
• Project management of large initiatives, involving the coordination of
multiple stakeholders and the ability to be effective in a matrix
organization.
• Applied knowledge of project management principles and practices,
including ownership of project financials and communications.
• Ability to articulate ideas to all levels of management, and to technical
staff.  Candidate must be comfortable communicating with very senior levels
of management in the organization.
• Ability to be a team player, and apply logical temperament,
organizational skills and sound leadership
• Strong verbal/written communications skills and problem solving abilities
• Relevant software skills, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite – deep
knowledge of MS Project.  Experience with the implementation of one of the
leading vendor products in the BSA/AML arena is a plus.
• Specific experience with the Actimize product suite is a large plus.

Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree a must.  Graduate degree is a plus.  PMP certification
is preferred and is a big plus.

Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of solid project management
experience in a corporate environment.   Experience with internal and/or
external auditors is a plus****
